Vintage Craftsman no. 5493 Die set

Set of five threading dies, sizes: 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16 and 1/2 inch

These dies incorporate a guiding 'nut' in which 2 cutting dies are placed. The dies can be adjusted in order to create tighter or looser fitting threaded rod.
